currently “between jobs” :P. left my old one because my boss was extremely unprofessional and rude and the coworkers weren't too bad though. :P

Not knowing the rules of what makes his nose grow exactly, I think it can be reasoned out though:

If Pinocchio's intent was to lie; that is, he believed his nose would not grow, then it would grow. His statement would be true, but he would have been attempting to deceive while being ignorant that his deception was truth. It would also grow if he implied that the growth that would occur was otherwise than what normally occurs when lying. In this case it would grow in the typical way instead of the way he implied it would.

If Pinocchio believed his nose would grow (intent to tell the truth), it would not from that incident grow. It could still be true later on that he would tell a lie, causing his nose to grow. Since his statement does not specify when the nose-growing occurs, it would still be true.

A third possibility is that his nose would become a singularity and destroy the universe.
