It is my sad privilege to notify you all that Chris known by most of you as Hawkwing, HW, Penguin Feather, among other names through out his ORKFiAN career has passed away. He was involved in car accident two nights ago while driving through St. Louis en route to his Family home in Raymore Missouri from Flordia. He was critically injured in the crash, leaving him in pretty bad shape, but after tests this morning it was determined that there is no brain activity. Funeral services have not yet been announced but I will let you all know more as I am updated. Please keep him, his friends and family in your thoughts and prayers. ---------------------------------------- On a personal note, I know this post seems kind of void of emotion...I don't deal with death well. Please forgive me that but, being as close to him as I was I know he would want you all to know what happened. Merry Part my dear friend...you will be missed

Saura, I know it can't have been easy to post that... thanks for letting us know. I don't really know what to say.. I'm shocked that he will never be back again. I've been sat here trying to think what to say since 1 minute after you posted this but I guess it doesn't matter what I say anyway.... What very sad news

Even though I didn't know him very well, I know he meant a lot to Saura - and the rest of Orkfia for that matter. His early death is especially tragic considering his suffering in life.

I'm in the same boat as Jamzi, I guess. I just don't know what to say since nothing I say is going to change anything. It was just so unexpected. Here one moment, gone the next. He will be missed.

Hearing this is real sad for me. HW was a good guy and i talked to him many times over the years. I consider him one of mmy oldest orkfian friends. I hope his closer friends and family endure this as well as can be expected and my heart goes out to them. Fiologist

What are some of the feelings that one might feel when a friend passes away. When someone that is special to us is gone it can be difficult to continue living life. Things that were special to you may begin to seem pointless when you don't have that special person to share it with. All of the things that you did together are reminders of the loss that you have suffered. HW aka PenguinFeather to me was like a brother to me. It's such a shock that such a great guy can lose is life so dramatically. We would talk for hours about his plans with his life. He was really going somewhere. His ambitions and character will forever live on in his friends and family. I feel that knowing him made me, myself better then who I was. He's an inspiration to everyone who he has touched. My prayers go out to his family and friends. May he rest in peace.

damn...i knew to be very energetic and fun to be with..we were alliancemates in #125 ages ago and hes one of those people whom i considered friend. see you later buddy, and convince St. Peter in Heaven to make your own alliance :) you will be missed
