440 crowns though (as mines does)
440 mines produce 400. Quanta dose not effect mines or dose it ? |

mines have 15 citz, that's 15*1.35 assuming 25k fame, so that's 20.25. 20.25*2=40.5 cr bonus on top of 400 cr. So 440 cr, yes.
EDIT: actually 20.25*2.2=44.5, so 445 cr xP |

Buildings in Alliances At War and their functions. Each building houses a minimum of 10 citizens.
so wouldn't yards and mines hold the same amount of citys ? yards FTW! |

Bolle, February 2010 | |

offensive buildings hold 10, income buildings hold 15 and defensive buildings hold 20 :)

Yeah well I'd go for barracks if the income difference is so little ;P

but still you'll need alot of farms to be able to withstand your pop.

Uhh... its been a long time since I played, but does Fame actually alter the tax income?
If not, how can it be relevant to barracks? I need tutoring, darnit In my mind, if it doesnt apply directly to tax income, it wont mather if you got a gazzilion fame, since the bonus applies to population e.i civvies or sollies a building can hold. Atleast thats how the fame used to be added on to the population |

Pop pays tax. More pop == more tax.
Mines don't pay tax. Barracks/markets do pay tax. |
|
CBeast, February 2010 | |

Well, barracks dont pay tax per se. They house military units, which leaves room for more citz in the homes, and those citz pay taxes.

I know that citz pay tax. I asume millitary doesnt? Population is still Citz+Military?
And I got that part and wasnt asking for that. I asked about Fame. Does fame alter the Tax income? (I still understand that it allters your population), or does Fame apply on barracks? e.i does fame make barraks house more, as with homes? |

I asked about Fame. Does fame alter the Tax income?
only by increasing citys other than that no does fame make barraks house more, as with homes? Yes |

Perkalov: I think barracks still house the correct number of military, but the 100ish citz you can gain on each barracks is then multiplied by fame bonus.

but thats incorrect.
Barracks holds military, and always the same ammount of military. However the citz that can live in the tribe cause of the free space is effected by fame like any other citz |

as i've already stated =P

yards always produce the most creds
with barracks i don't use them unless i need the citz for survival reasons rather than for income. i'm too lazy to even use them for pumps unless it's really big, as the construction cost + lost income from yards for 8 hrs more often than not comes very close to the 10% training cost you save anyway You'll be surprised how much you can save. I was also surprised at how expensive building stuff is... Thought process- “o.. w/e its only 400 cr a building with a few logs on the side, 2 million logs and 74 million credits later... :O” |

Quote: Acwder but thats incorrect. Barracks holds military, and always the same ammount of military. if this is the case, then fame has no effect on barracks, unless the code has been changed. If it is the same as when I stoped playing, then fame is calculated and added on Total Population. ehh... Short senario... Tribe 1, 10 acres big. with 25k fame. 3 homes (3*300)900 7 farms (7*10) 70 ------------------- 970 Fame:(0,25*970)243 Total Pop: 1213 Army: 100 Citz: 1113 Total: 1213 Tribe 2, 10 acres big. with 25k fame. 3 homes 900 6 farms 60 1 barrack 10 + 100 military --------------------------------- 970 Fame:(0,25*970)243 Total Pop: 1213 + 100 military Army: 100 Housed in Barrack Citz: 1213 Total: 1313 @Harry: Is my "short senario correct? Back to subject at hand... The game used to calculate total population first, adding any modifications (Fame, sci, spell. And yes I know that sci has changed :P ) , then deduct military from that, if this is still correct then fame is already included, and what you suggests is to add fame twice or add it to barracks or the code is changed to separate military and citz before adding modifications to citz alone. Edit: Quote: lazy yards always produce the most creds Thats asuming that you got an infinity of gold (is it?) on the market, or else you are leaching on those who produce money :P Having an 12 tribe alliance producing logs instead of gold will likely drain the market for gold An alliance at the average tribe-size of 8k running 25% yards will aquire 230-240 million gold/day. I know that when I quit there where alliances who held 2.000.000.000 gold and more, but that would be consumed within a 10 days period leaving an insanly high amount of logs on the market. But thats asuming that the market doesnt hold infinit amount of gold ofc. |
