What happens to a tribes invested research points after that tribe dies? and is investing in research even worth it?

The rp stay until they have been purchased by an Elder. Research is useful.. if you know what to do and how to do it. Alot of alliances don't use it because it doesn't benefit them all of the time. It is very handy in wars

Depends how it is used. It can be useful for growing very quickly also.

warding - ultimate way of pwning combat - ultimate way of pwning the other way around (i.e. you as aggressor) economics - good to invest in as 10k acre tribes just before dying, gives you a nice restart along with some other small advantages :) *Edit* (mod) removed alliance references
