Nope, unless it has some awesome features but we could also do those in differently named races.

you can't transfer races from classic to aatw. Not as impossible to code, but impossible to be balanced :/

And especially not vice versa, either.

If we were to make one new race per race category, hawks might be the winged one. But it raises the question of whether the game really needs five more races. Not any time soon, anyway.

I think we have a pretty good diversity of races now. There's more design space available, but the current races offer a lot of different features and ways of playing. Any new race, besides balance issues, would have to be unique in what it offered. No one wants to play a boring prototype unless it's so efficient that it's imba (the way UD used to be). So aatw hawks overall would not strongly resemble classic ones. Might keep the 2 hour attack time, though. ^^
